The United Association (UA) Veterans in Piping (VIP) Program is recognized by the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Labor (DOL) as the gold standard career skills program for transitioning active duty military service members.

There are currently nine programs operating at seven locations nationwide serving all branches of the military. Service members stationed at neighboring installations are highly encouraged to apply for the UA VIP program nearest them. 

Camp Pendleton

CALIFORNIA

weldingWelding: This is an accelerated welder training program for active-duty transitioning service members. The program is 118 days in duration, classes meet Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Read more.

WASHINGTON

weldingHVAC-RWelding and HVACR: There are accelerated welding and accelerated heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) training programs offered to active-duty transitioning service members. Both programs are 118 days in duration meeting Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Read more.
