Through the UA Veterans in Piping (VIP) Program, you can apply your military training into a rewarding career in the pipe trades.

Welding and Fire Sprinkler Fitter: There are accelerated welding training and fire protection programs offered for active-duty transitioning service members. The programs are 18 weeks in duration, classes meet Monday through Thursday from 7:00am to 5:30pm.

Welding Class 11 begins on October 8, 2018.
Welding Class 12 begins on March 4, 2019.
Welding Class 13 begins on July 22, 2019.
Fire Sprinkler Fitter program is projected to begin in early 2019. 

Students are selected to participate in this program through an interview process.  Contact your Career Skills Office for additional details.
