HVACR: This is an accelerated Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration training program for active-duty transitioning service members. The program is 18 weeks in duration, classes meet Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Naval Station Norfolk Program Application Information

All Branches of Service
Obtain a DOD Skillbridge Application. Please work with your local Skillbridge office and complete their Skillbridge application. If your local Skillbridge office does not have an application, you may use the Naval Station Norfolk HVAC VIP Application found by clicking here

Please send your completed application to UA VIP Instructor James Kinney at jkinney@uanet.org. Once your approved application is received, you will be notified of your interview date and time.
 
Navy Personnel
In addition to the application requirement listed above, Navy personnel desiring to participate in DOD SkillBridge must register and apply for SkillBridge approval using the application portal via My Navy Education. Application portal instructions can be found here. Once approved, please forward approval results to jkinney@uanet.org.

Letter of Acceptance
If your command requires a Letter of Acceptance, we can provide you with a Conditional Letter of Acceptance from the VIP Program. Please email NSN UA VIP Instructor James Kinney with your request.
