How do I apply for Camp Pendleton's Welding Training Classes?

 
If You're an Applicant Stationed at Camp Pendleton

  1. Obtain Conditional Letter of Acceptance; Contact Camp Pendleton VIP Lead Welding Instructor Jason Culkin at aj.jasonculkin@gmail.com. Jason will be able to provide you with a conditional letter of acceptance that you can share with your Chain of Command as you route your application.

  2. Obtain a Camp Pendleton Skillbridge Application; Email your Conditional Letter of Acceptance and EAS to cpsdp@usmc.mil (preferred) or take it to Marine & Family Programs, Marine Corps Community Service Office located at BLDG 13150, Rm 311.

 

If You're an Applicants Stationed outside of Camp Pendleton

  1. Obtain Conditional Letter of Acceptance; Contact Camp Pendleton VIP Lead Welding Instructor Jason Culkin at aj.jasonculkin@gmail.com. Jason will be able to provide you with a conditional letter of acceptance that you can share with your Chain of Command as you route your application.

  2. Obtain a Skillbridge Application; Please work with your local Skillbridge office and complete their Skillbridge application. Send completed applications to Camp Pendleton Marine & Family Programs, Marine Corps Community Service Offices at cpsdp@usmc.mil.

Welding: This is an accelerated welder training program for active-duty transitioning service members. The program is 18 weeks in duration, classes meet Monday through Friday from 0630 to 1500.

Students are selected to participate in this program through an interview process. Contact your Career Skills Program for additional details.
